How might we act as urban elves and re-imagine the streets of London?

The brief was to create a Christmas greeting for friends and neighbors of Wieden+Kennedy in London; spread the Christmas spirit and bring a smile to people’s faces. A massive street advent calendar was created. Every day a new gift with a Christmas-themed twist was given to the neighborhood. This gigantic calendar was placed in the office window. People walking by learned what present had been revealed each day and used the calendar as a map to find where the actual gifts/urban interventions were hiding.

This installation won a D&AD award for the category: Environmental Design / Installations.
