What is the relationship between information, physical space and perception?

Working with the Architecture and Art departments of the Royal Institute of Art in Sweden, we developed a five-day workshop on exhibiting information. Through a combination of lectures, critiques and hands-on activities we investigated different strategies for how we can best communicate using space as our medium.

Specifically, we explored how design interventions might benefit South Africa’s educational system, urban development schemes, social relations, and export production.

The students and instructors from Sweden were fantastic. The quality of work we produced in five days was astonishing. The pastries weren’t bad either.
